We are The True Honest Canadians, a civic movement formed in response to long-standing structural failures in Canada’s system of governance. Our focus is not on parties, personalities, or short-term politics, but on the rules, incentives, and institutions that shape how power is exercised in this country.
At the centre of our work is a proposed new Canadian Constitution. This document is not ideological or partisan. It is a practical framework designed to correct systemic weaknesses that have allowed accountability to erode, consequences to disappear, and public trust to decline regardless of which party holds power.
We believe Canada’s current system concentrates authority without sufficient enforcement, oversight, or responsibility. Over time, this has produced repeated failures, not because of a lack of laws, but because of a lack of consequences when those laws are ignored. Our constitutional proposal addresses this directly by establishing clear duties, enforceable standards, independent oversight, and real accountability mechanisms that apply to everyone in power.
The True Honest Canadians movement exists to educate the public about these systemic issues, to make the proposed Constitution accessible and understandable, and to encourage informed national discussion about structural reform. We are not a political party, and we do not endorse candidates. Our goal is to strengthen democracy itself by fixing the rules under which it operates.
We believe meaningful change begins with honest diagnosis, transparent solutions, and citizen engagement grounded in facts rather than slogans. By focusing on structure instead of blame, we aim to help build a governance system that serves Canadians consistently, fairly, and responsibly, now and for generations to come.
We believe in holding public officials and institutions accountable for their actions.
